Cwmbran Town AFC want to transform the club’s changing rooms on Penylan Fields and include a function room and roof terrace.
The club has submitted a planning application to Torfaen Council to extend the current building. The full application is titled: “Proposed part single storey and part two storey extension to provide additional facilities including function room, raised viewing platform and roof terrace.”
The club included a covering letter with its application that said: “We are hoping to bring a huge improvment in the faciliites that we can give to our players and visitors which we would then like to offer out to local groups when we are not using them.
“The facilities will give improved changing rooms and access to shelter and comfortable areas for spectators and visitors.”
The plans are out for consultation and the council will make a decision at a later date.
