A camera crew from a TV station in Thailand visited Cwmbran for a story on giant vegetables. PPTV36 HD spent a day with two-time former Guinness world-record breaker Kevin Fortey and Ian Neale.
The Cwmbran residents told them how giant veg competitions started in the early 1980s at the town’s Mill Tavern pub.
That pub closed a few years ago so Kevin took the crew to the Giant Veg growing areas for the interview.
