Anyone aged from 18-30 can sign up for a free weekly course in Cwmbran to help them start their own business.
It runs over seven weeks from Thursday 26 October to Thursday 7 December at the Springboard Business Innovation Centre on Llantarnam Industrial Estate in Cwmbran. Each session starts at 5pm and ends at 9pm. Staff from Welsh ICE, a Caerphilly-based start-up business hub, have organised the course with funding from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
They say it’s a “fun, engaging program to inspire, encourage and support anyone to turn that passion into a business or a career in a rewarding sector! You don’t have to have a business idea already in mind to be eligible to attend, we’ll help you with that! Equally, you might feel that self-employment isn’t for you – That’s also fine! The program will also connect you to people who can offer exciting employment opportunities to help you kick-start your career.”
Food and refreshments will be provided. If you have any questions, please email hello@welshice.org or call 02920 140 040.
