“Never forgotten his roots”

David Power, secretary of the Welsh Charitables RFC, said: “Ian started playing at Cwmbran juniors and youth and has never forgotten his roots. He is the most capped international to come from Cwmbran.
“Over the years his support for the Welsh Charitables RFC has been wonderful so we are really pleased to hold a dinner with him.

“Ian is a well-liked guy and we are looking forward to putting on a memorable night in Cwmbran. We hope fans and friends along with current and former players from the likes of Cwmbran RFC, Newport RFC, Pontypridd RFC, the Dragons and the Ospreys will come and show their support for him.”
