A free guided walk along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal to learn about bats is being held in Torfaen
It takes place on 25 September from 6pm. The organisers, In Our Nature, said: Take a Moment and join us for a free educated walk along the Mon & Brec Canal, exploring one of our richest wildlife corridors on the way up and the nocturnal habits of bats of the way back. Contact with nature has been proven to be beneficial both physically and psychologically for a wide range of people, particularly for those experiencing chronic mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression.”
Meet at Pontymoil Basin in Pontypool at 6pm and bring a torch. Organisers added: “But don’t panic if you don’t have one, there should be plenty to share.” Click here to book your space.
